Fonie Pierre holds over 21 years of experience in strategic planning, program implementation, management, and reporting through work with the Government of Haïti as well as with local and interna-tional development agencies. She has worked in several sectors including: management of quality of health services, Maternal and Child Health, HIV/AIDS, Scholar Health, Food Security, Hygiene, Gender Equity Promotion, Social Security, and data analysis.

Fonie has considerable expertise in managing USAID/FFP Title II programs (DAP, MYAP) in compliance with U.S. government regulations, as well as Canadian funding programs.

Her academic background includes a Diploma as Medical Doctor, and a master degree in Population and Development and in Community and Social Health.
